About Slip-On Flanges

A slip-on flange, commonly referred to as an SO flange, is designed to slide over a pipe, featuring an internal diameter slightly larger than the pipe itself. The primary function of a slip-on flange is to insert the pipe into its inner hole, providing a secure and reliable connection.

Types of Slip-On Flange Welding

Slip-on flanges can be categorized into two main types: Slip-On Welding Plate Flange and Slip-On Welding Neck Steel Pipe Flange. These flanges exhibit mechanical properties that lie between those of lap joint flanges and integral flanges.
